Terms & conditions

The ground rules for using Bible Party and hosting your group.

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Who these terms are with

Bible Party is operated by John Carl Javier. These terms cover the website, games, host accounts, and workspace features. Our initial launch is for users in the Philippines. By creating a host account, you agree to these terms. Please read them before using the service.

For questions or concerns, use the site’s Feedback button. For privacy or personal-data requests, email privacy@playbibleparty.com. Never send a password or sign-in code.

Adult hosts and account-free players

You must be at least 18 years old to create a host account. Younger players may take part in games supervised by an adult without creating accounts. Hosts are responsible for appropriate supervision, safe activities, and the content they present to their group.

If you act for a church, school, or other organization, you must have authority to manage its workspace and share its content. Do not create an account or accept an invitation by impersonating someone else.

Free play and Plus

The Free plan has no trial deadline and does not require a credit card or subscription. Local play and team-phone participation do not require player accounts. Account and cloud features may require sign-in and the appropriate workspace permissions.

Plus provides additional features where access has been granted. See the pricing page for the current feature comparison. Creating an account does not purchase or automatically unlock Plus.

Online subscription checkout has not launched. Displayed subscription prices are planned prices, not an active payment agreement. We do not start recurring charges merely because you create an account or use Free.

Before paid checkout becomes available, we will explain the price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, and applicable refund terms before you purchase. Nothing in these terms removes refund or other consumer rights provided by applicable law.

Your account and workspace

Keep your sign-in details private and use an email address you can access. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized use. Sign out on shared devices and keep a separate copy of local questions or setups you want to preserve.

Only invite people and change roles when authorized. Workspace members can access shared content according to their permissions. A room code lets people connect to a game; it is not a private account password. Use team nicknames and avoid placing personal or sensitive information in game content.

Acceptable use

Use Bible Party lawfully and respectfully. Do not:

  • Harass people, distribute unlawful content, or share another person’s private information without a lawful basis.
  • Upload content you do not have permission to use, or pretend to represent someone else.
  • Try to access another account or workspace, evade access controls or paid-feature restrictions, or use stolen credentials.
  • Send spam, distribute malware, disrupt games or infrastructure, or use automation to overload the service.

If you discover a security issue, report it through Feedback without including exposed secrets or other people’s personal data. Stop testing if it could harm someone else’s game or information.

Your content and our materials

You keep the rights you have in your questions, setups, and other content. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to provide the features you choose, share it with your permitted workspace members or game participants, and maintain the service. This does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

You may use the games and included materials through Bible Party for your events within your plan’s limits. This does not transfer ownership of the software, branding, or question collections, or grant permission to resell them as a separate product. Third-party and open-source materials remain subject to their own licenses.

Hosts should review questions and answers for their audience. Bible translations and interpretations can differ; the host remains responsible for judging answers and deciding how to teach or discuss them.

Availability, changes, and suspension

We aim to keep Bible Party useful and available, but maintenance, connection problems, and software errors can interrupt play. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every question or feature is error-free. Test your setup before an event and keep a backup way to run it.

We may update features and will give appropriate notice of material changes affecting accounts or access. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these terms, protect people or the service, or comply with law. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue; urgent security or legal concerns may require immediate action.

You can stop using the service at any time. Account and data-deletion requests are handled as described in the Privacy policy, including shared-workspace and retention considerations.

Your rights and resolving concerns

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without excluding mandatory protections that apply to you. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or waives your statutory consumer or privacy rights.

Please report a concern through Feedback so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from contacting the appropriate regulator or seeking a remedy through a competent court. We do not require mandatory private arbitration under these terms.

Updates to these terms

We will update the date above when these terms change and provide appropriate notice of material changes. If a change requires your agreement, we will obtain it before applying that change to you. Future purchases will have the applicable commercial terms presented before payment.
